We speak English and Spanish and offer you help with many administration matters so that you settle quickly into your new life.The assistance is provided on an hourly basis. Below are a few examples of areas that you might have questions on.

· NIE/ Residents card. If you are not confident in speaking Spanish you may wish a member of our team to accompany you to Motril to complete the form. You need copies of your passports, passport photographs & a Spanish address. This is an essential step to take if you are purchasing a house.

· Renovating or building a new home. We use a selection of professional contractors (both Spanish & British). For example architects who are legally skilled to draw up the plans and experienced builders.

· Connecting to utility & other household services. Mains Internet/ telephone connection is easy if you are located in a village, if you are in the countryside there are other forms of internet service. When you purchase a property your solicitor may expect you to inform the utility companies.

· Town Hall documentation. Certificate of "empadronamiento" is required to register in the schools. However it is useful for all new residents and is a free service.

· School registration. Passport photographs, school records, medical records and your certificate of "empadronamiento" required to register in the nearest school. If you are rurally located you may wish to use the school bus service.

· Medical provision. For the initial 6 months you are covered on your E111 card.However if you are going to permanently reside here you may wish to pay for each visit to the medical centre / opticians/ dentist or you may like to take out an insurance policy.

· Purchasing a vehicle. New Spanish cars are inexpensive and second hand cars keep their value. It is perhaps best to sell your car in Britain and buy a Spanish vehicle. This is because the process of registering a British vehicle in Spain is time consuming and costly.
