Alpujarras Property

Cortijo Ermita, Sierra de la Contraviesa, Cadiar, Las Alpujarras
SBV0109
The price for this farm is 46, 000 €

Big 4A real bargain, an amazing value for money olive, fig and almond farm of three buildings with just over two hectares of beautifully cared for land.

One of the buildings is independent and you may like to renovate that to use it as a dwelling, whilst the other 2 buildings could be used to store agricultural items and farm machinery.

This farm is located next to other Spanish owned farms but because of its corner position it has a lot of privacy. It is a real bonus being close to neighbors as you may wish to gain assistance on local farming techniques and the current owners are also happy to share their knowledge and expertise gained throughout their life on the farm.

The position of this farm is located approximately 20 minutes drive from the commercial facilities of Cadiar, a pretty whitewashed village in the middle of the Alpujarras. It has good vehicle access throughout the farm and this land is farmed to olives, almonds and figs with around 400 trees.

There are two natural springs that are shared by the entire farm plus if you need mains water one of the other farm buildings already has this connected. Therefore to receive mains town water you would need to employ a plumber to add extra pipes to your property.

In terms of yields, some years are more profitable than others. However in general terms the almonds produce around 1000 kilos and the olives 100 kilos. The dry figs generate about two hundred kilos.
